That is the argentine story; the following weekend we had plans for Slaughterhouse Gulch. Those plans fell through as my main accomplice forgot his co-pilots swimming lessons in the morning. Later that afternoon was the Big Chili Cook Off in Evergreen. It’s a local event that raises funds for local volunteer fire departments. It’s a good cause and a lot of great chili.
This upcoming weekend we have West Rollins Pass on the slate. It should be an easy trail with some fun hikes and great views. Of course, yes, the yearly viewing of fall colors. I am excited about heading up the west side of Rollins Pass, as I have been up the east side a number of times. Look for the trail report this this weekend!
